The standing House committees on which I serve (Corrections and Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence) will have various issues assigned to be studied by the Speaker in preparation for the 2011 Legislative Session. The policy areas over which my two committees have jurisdiction are criminal justice and the courts, judges, litigation and attorneys. However, I wish to form local advisory groups that can help me focus on subjects of concern to my constituents.
